Wolfgang Riedl

Based on more than 30 years of experience within the ÖBB Group, Wolfgang Riedl is an expert in forwarding and rail logistics services – with more than 25 years of expertise in the rail freight business of the ÖBB Rail Cargo Group, especially concerning sales for customers in the steel and related industries. From 2012 until Mid-2019, he was the Business Unit Manager STEA (Steel, Energy, Automotive) for the Rail Cargo Group. Now, Wolfgang Riedl is the Head of Service Delivery and thus responsible for operations within the group as well as Managing Director of the subsidiary Rail Cargo Logistics d.o.o. in Ljubljana. Riedl was mainly responsible for the implementation of the logistics hub in Santo Stino di Livenza, the sustainable expansion of the RCG network as well as sustainable customer relations in the Steel, Energy and Automotive industries, including new concepts such as the modular platform concept for freight wagons TransANT.
